Hindustan University (Deemed to be University), founded in 1985, is one of the most popular universities, located at Padur village on OMR. The university is famous for its aeronautical, aerospace and mechanical branches and for its academics and sports, and it also offers many extracurricular activities for the overall development of its students. The university is reputed for its highly experienced and qualified faculty and cutting-edge infrastructure. More than 80 percent of students pass with distinction (above 75 percent), which truly signifies its academic excellence.
